As veteran entrepreneurs, Lynn and Reno Rollé were on the hunt for community resources and programs to help their flourishing Super Food business keep up with demand.
The 5-Year-Old Boku International has been experiencing growing pains as their increasing demands put strains on their vendors and production line. In order to compensate for the increased demand, the Rolle’s needed to handle blending and packaging in-house, requiring specialized equipment.
The City of Ventura’s Business Assistance Program Loan was able to provide the necessary funds to purchase the equipment necessary for Boku International’s expansion, which private lenders had shied away from.
The loan provided Reno and Lynn long term stability as well as a means to keep up with demand for their growing business.
What’s Next For Reno, Lynn, & Boku International?
With access to their own blending equipment, the entrepreneurial couple plans to expand their product line to include snacks, proteins, and even pet products!
