In 1986, Reno Rollé and his wife Lynn founded Rollé Ltd. in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. It was one of Reno’s first entrepreneurial pursuits.

Under Rollé Ltd., the Rolle’s filed a patent on a unique implementation of a blanket, which led to the development of the aptly named Rollé Blanket. It’s dual-ply blanket/towel fabrics, weighted corners, hidden pockets, and ability to fold into itself as a backpack made it a standout against the competition.

In 1989, Reno was given the opportunity to pitch his blanket to Donald Trump’s Taj Mahal Casino property, which led to a number of business deals with the Trump Organization, Steve Wynn, and Gloria Estefan.

Reno Rolle was also contracted by the Trump organization to provide 100,000 fanny packs as door prizes for the Taj Mahal Casino’s opening, making it one of Reno’s first major sales in his career.
