Under Synergy Worldwide, Reno Rollé designed and developed the Spin Fryer, a healthier alternative to deep frying which reduces fat in fried food by 50%.

Rather than soaking the food in oil, the Spin Fryer rotates the food in a chamber to limit contact with and absorption of cooking oil. Once the cooking cycle completes, the chamber spins at 800rpm while also vibrating at ultrasonic frequencies to extract remaining oil. The extracted oil is then filtered through carbon and recycled to help minimize waste!

The Spin Fryer was featured in the “Technology Watch” report of  Popular Mechanics’ August 2000 magazine.
